It is a very simple concept: his enterprise-class, redundant network, your station. There are a lot of complexities setting up a remote station: port forwarding, DIY, linux requirements, etc,etc. With Ben’s product, all these issues and many more are eliminated:
– station-side operation with any network, including CG-NAT and IPv6 networks such as cellular or satellite.
– no station-side hardware other than a PC.
– works with just about any radio that has CAT control.
– Rotator, antenna switch and other antenna controls.
– amplifier control
– ac power control
The client is simply a web browser. This can be on a PC, a tablet or any device wirh a browser. On a PC, the client will provide an interface to N1MM+ for CAT control and K1EL Winkey for flawless CW. This means you can contest with any remote station with nothing more rhan a Browser and N1MM.
Pricing has not been disclosed, but there are no per-minute charges. This service will have monthly or annual subscription, and will be very afordable to the average ham.
